At the beginning of every new year, we are bombarded on TV and social media reminding us to get our bodies in shape. The advertising is overwhelmingly focused on fitness, specifically “weight loss.” Their ads are designed to trigger our subconscious and make us feel somehow inferior, guilty, and embarrassed of the exterior condition of our “earthsuit.” Their promise is that if we buy their products or start working out, we too can look like the perfect physically built human specimens in the ads. Subconsciously, we know that reality is only for 1% and we want to believe we are that 1%. The actual reality is too many people throw their money and their sanity at this in the hope that this time, this year, it will miraculously stick.
If one really wants to make a physical change, one that will stick and actually achieve their goals, that journey actually starts with their “interior”, their MINDSET. The real truth is that 99% of people will be unable to achieve any kind of physical transformation until they FIRST, spend time, money, and effort at “hate loss.” As long as a person is hanging onto A. R. B. (anger, resentment, bitterness) they are self-sabotaging and fighting a nearly insurmountable battle to achieve anything that they would perceive as positive.
I wish we had mirrors that showed us what our interior looks like, specifically our minds. Too many people battle with self-hate, self-doubt, and self-esteem issues. Too many people’s lives are controlled by their fear, worry, doubt, and insecurities. Too many people are paralyzed from family-of-origin issues, betrayal, broken hearts, and soul wounds. Too many people are hurting, and hurting people hurt people, themselves first.
If you are one of those people that are interested in “the NEW you”, I encourage you, no, I actually implore you, to first focus on the “hate loss.” If you do that, if one of your goals is “weight loss”, you will finally, perhaps for the first time, put yourself in a position to actually have a success at achieving that goal. But I can make this guarantee to anyone; if a person focuses their efforts on “hate loss,” their lives will become so much less painful, so much more beautiful and you will open yourself up to enjoying a life filled with Joy, Peace, and Love. Once these three are dominant in your life, everything becomes possible!
Perhaps you have tried therapists or other life coaches in the past and have been disappointed or experienced unmet expectations. That’s very common actually. It’s very difficult to find another person who you can connect with, feel safe with, and who actually cares in order for you to be willing to be vulnerable. To me, emotional vulnerability with a new person looks and feels as if I walk into their space, strip off all my clothes and stand there naked while they ask me very personal questions. I feel exposed and I believe the vast majority feel the same way. Ironically, when we go in for a medical procedure, we accept that strangers will see us in some form of physical nakedness. And we allow that because we believe that ultimately, it’s for our benefit. The same should be true for our emotional nakedness. If we find the right person, then we can allow ourselves to be emotionally naked, as we subconsciously believe it is for our own good.
I’m different than all the rest. How so? Several ways. First, I offer an initial 30-minute session at no cost. Why you ask? To give you and myself time to see if we are a good fit for each other. Second, to my knowledge, I’m the only Practitioner who offers a money-back guarantee. Third, I’m the only Practitioner I’m aware of who makes themselves available 24/7, yes, you read that correctly 24/7. Real life and real crisis happen daily. Waiting until next Thursday at 4:00 p.m. for your sit-down session with a therapist is why so many people never get the results they so desperately want.
Invest in yourself. It’s the best investment you’ll ever make. I’m here and ready to help you on your Journey of Authenticity.
